We had a delightful stay at this hotel. the location was fantastic, being so close to the train station, which made it convenient to explore nearby Nettuno and visit the American war cemetery. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a good area for a meal ensured we had plenty of dining options. Secondly, the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, always friendly and helpful. Lastly, our room with a balcony offered stunning views, especially during sunset. It was a great addition to our experience.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

Hotel Lido Garda is located well for pepole who prefer to combine lazing on a beach with travelling to Roma. The train station is just 5 minutes walk from hotel, train trip to Roma takes 1 hour. The nice beach with discount for hotel"s guests. The atmosphere is exceptionally friendly.
Standart room is without balcony and less than 23 m2

The location was ideal for us. We picked up a car after an overnight flight, and Anzio was just a short hop from Rome.

Pretty well located.A really good restaurant next to it. And lovely, helpful people Perfect if you need a holiday without crowds.
The sea is just across the road-literally. Drivers don't seem to choose any other way, so the noise is sometimes extremely tiring.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. Its location is perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful beach and close to the center of Rome. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, and the rooms with a balcony offer stunning views. The breakfast, which includes eggs, is a pleasant surprise, as not all hotels in Italy provide this option.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

Close to the beach. Hotel staff was excellent. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to anzio colonia train station.
Located about 3 km from anzio center, so it's a 30min walk to find restaurants unless you have a bike or car. Bread at breakfast was not very good.

This hotel is great value for money, especially considering its excellent location near the train station and close proximity to the sea. The staff are friendly and the basic amenities are all provided. The rooms with a balcony offer a lovely view, and the breakfast even includes eggs, which is not always the case in Italy.
Everything was perfect, no improvements needed.

After staying in three others hotel in Italy we were curious at the last hotel. We came in to a large lobby and the first thing the kids saw was a pool table/biljard table. The family room we had booked was perfect with two bedrooms a large balcony with view over the ocean and the pool that belonged to the hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a large buffé with egg, bacon, sandwich, yoghurt, sweet cookies and much more. The beach that belonged to the hotel had free entré but they wanted you to rent at least one beach chair, You had discount from the hotel. The lunch bar at the beach was good and at the nights they served pizza and it was lovely to sit there and eat in the sun set. We loved staying at Hotel Lido Garda. They had free car park at the hotel. A tip is to buy wine from the Vinotec just 1 minutes walk from the hotel. 1-1,90 € per litre, you buy a glass bottle for 0,50 € and then they tap the wine from a large barrel/cask. Really good wines.
Expensive to have dinner at the hotel (we tried to asked them if they had another meny but we didn't got a clear answer so we had dinner out). It took 25-30 minutes to walk into Anzio, but it was easy to drive the car in.

As with any hotel stay it's the staff that make your trip good or bad and at Lido Garda the staff were exceptional!! Not wishing to be too cheesy but in truth nothing was too much trouble and we always felt that they went the extra mile to ensure that our family had a really good holiday.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, with all necessary amenities provided. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the friendly staff who were willing to assist with directions and recommendations. the breakfast buffet had a decent variety of options to choose from.
There was quite a bit of noise coming from adjacent rooms, which made it difficult to sleep at times. , the air conditioning was not very effective and could only be used during certain hours, making the room uncomfortably warm.

Friendly staff.
Airconditioning didnt work. Seaview rooms have a very noisy road between the hotel and the seafront especially at night from trucks, so could not open balcony doors, and a horrible car park right in front too. Breakfast was shockingly bad! Terrible value for money in total at 90euros a night. The bathroom was so small and the toilet so close to the shower that you could not sit on the toilet straight. You had to angle yourself so as not to smash your body into the side of the toilet. I am only 5'10".

I am always pleased to stay at the Lido Garda because I find the staff and the atmosphere very friendly. It is a comfortable hotel which suits my purpose when visiting Anzio. The breakfast selection is particularly good and was one of the reasons for my choosing the hotel on this visit.
I found my room (number 26) to be in need of some decoration and believe that it may have been neglected for some time.
